Course rules

USGA Rules Shall Govern All Play

  • Golfers are responsible for damages caused by their negligent use of the Heather Highlands property and related equipment.
  • In accordance with the Michigan Liquor Law, All Alcohol MUST be purchased on site ~ no Carry-on Alcoholic Beverages are allowed.
  • Golf Carts are NOT permitted within 30 feet of the putting greens.
  • Proper golf attire is required at all times.
  • No Carts allowed in the parking lot.
  • Pace of Play will be monitored at 2 hours and 15 mins per 9 holes.
  • No more than 4 golfers in a group.
  • Out of Bounds is defined by White Stakes, Lateral Hazards are marked by Red Stakes, and Water Hazards are marked by Yellow Stakes.
  • Any golfer found in violation of rules may be removed without a refund.

Safety warning. Heather Highlands Golf Course does not warn you of weather that may cause serious bodily harm or death. If you feel you are in danger due to weather, do not delay, leave the course immediately and go to a substantial building until the weather subsides.
